REMINDER! COMMUNITY MEETING! SEE YOU ALL THERE

Dear Friends,

Just a reminder that our community meeting is tomorrow night (or tonight, depending on when you are reading this message): THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 18 at 6pm at THE LANTERN - 35 Barnes Road.

This will be an amazing opportunity to connect, have discussions, and get involved in core work. We will have action tables where you can learn new skills, draft letters to government officials, and get involved in various activities.

***There will be FOOD!!***

An incredible Palestinian community member, Abed, is providing a very special meal featuring Maklouba, a traditional Palestinian dish. There will be vegan/vegetarian options as well as plenty of chicken, and hummus, salads, breads, muttabbal (a dip), and baklava for dessert.

All of this is provided for free, but if you have the means please consider making a donation to cover the costs of the ingredients. Abed will share some business cards in case you want more of his incredible cooking.

We are so excited to see you all there. So much is happening in our community. We have the UN declaring a genocide, community members on the flotilla, and the arms embargo campaign heating up. Now is the time to take action, get involved, and build our strength as a community.
